A key member of the organization?s senior leadership team, the Senior Vice President will be responsible for setting a new bold direction for BGCA and defining a sweeping vision for the organization?s programmatic strategies that will create vibrant and impactful programming in Clubs worldwide.For more than a century, BGCA has been a national leader in putting young individuals on the path to great futures. Clubs annually serve nearly 4 million youth, through membership and community outreach, in some 4,000 Club facilities throughout the country and at BGCA-affiliated youth centers on U.S. military installations worldwide. The Boys & Girls Club Movement-wide total revenue is $1.54 billion and the national organization?s operating budget is $110 million. Reporting to the President and CEO, the Senior Vice President will be a formidable force behind BGCA?s effort to galvanize America to help young people succeed. As a game changer in the national discussion on American?s youth, the SVP will have primary responsibility for defining and staying abreast of the trends and issues facing today?s young people and for leading the organization?s efforts to provide relevant, creative, and impactful programming solutions that support BGCA?s targeted areas of academic success, good character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyles. The Senior Vice President will be a talented professional with substantial experience in strategic thinking, project management, research and analysis, and communication. S/he must also provide evidence of prior authentic leadership, an ability to build strong professional relationships, and business acumen.
