We are currently seeking a L3 Deskside Support Technician to be engaged on site at a Major Financial Institution in Atlanta, GA.61607Experience supporting end-users in a corporate environment. Support background must include direct in-person contact with users rather than background that only entails Helpdesk-based telephone support.[removed phone] yrs IT Experience61607Fully fluent in English and expertise to use proper grammar and syntax when speaking and writing.61607Possess the professional demeanor required to support very senior executives.61607Candidates must have background working in team environments ideally in large corporations.61607Ideally, applicants will have background working in large office buildings with hundreds or thousands of users rather than background based in supporting numerous small sites. For exle, a applicant that has background based largely in being the sole support resource for a chain of drugstores would not be ideal. Whereas a applicant that has worked as part of a support team in a large office tower would have background that would easily translate to the position.61607The applicant will only work a Monday to Friday dayshift. However, occasional nights and weekends will be required. The applicant may occasionally be asked to be on call on evenings or weekends.61607Possesses reliable transportation61607The applicant must have the expertise to lift, move, and setup technology-related equipment such as computers, monitors and printers.61607Proficient with the Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows seven operating systems.61607Proficient in supporting the Microsoft office suite Suites 2003, 2007, and 2010. Background supporting Microsoft Outlook is required.61607Proficient in the use and support of Internet Explorer.61607A knowledge of Active Directory is preferred. Applicants must, at a min, have background and understanding of how users log into Windows domains.61607Candidates should understand how to map to data on network shares e.g., ltgtshare name and ideally have an understanding of network share permissioning.61607The applicant should understand the concept and use of drive mappings to connect to network resources.61607The applicant should ideally have a knowledge of network cabling in terms of how workstations and voice-over-IP telephones connect to the network.61607Experience connecting laptops to wireless networks61607The applicant must have the expertise to work autonomously61607The applicant must be extremely client-service oriented.
